Services such as Geographical Information System (GIS), NETBASE SCADA and Telemetry System and Hydraulic Water Modelling are some of the advanced technological services and expertise that we, at JCSB take pride in the strength and knowledge that we have in offering potential clients that need these specific solutions.
NETBASE Water Management System comprises applications which support a wide range of network management, NRW, NETBASE
operational performance and modelling activities throughout the project phase which embodies water engineering principles and best practice. The modules comprised are as follows:
LATIS & SUMDAT
Present’s the core functionality for displaying and summarising the time series data in the Netbase Time Series Data Repository (TSDR) and the source systems.
Maintains the daily analysis and history of total integrated flow, NRW and losses for zones and DMAs.
Recording of ALC detection and repair effort in order to achieve NRW / leakage reduction targets.
Exhibits network connectivity schematics tool for operational visualization and analysis.
Alarm & Network Events
Monitoring of abnormal flow and pressure patterns and related equipment and operational events in the network.
Monitoring pressure management in DMAs in relation to the critical points and service levels to customers.
Monitoring abstraction and impounding reservoir levels in relation to licenses and seasonal rule curves.
Provides a comprehensive model management system integrated with hydraulic distribution modelling software
Area and Asset Management
Provide analysis tools for the capital planning of underground assets (pipe performance and replacement).
Reports and Views
Reporting tools and script reports for management and regulatory reporting and for business process functions.
JCSB’s hydraulic modelling service is to provide accurate results to assist in the development of sustainable water distribution piping management solutions. Used in the planning of water resources structure and mitigation efforts with correlation on environmental assessment impacts such as water quality and head loss, it gives an insight approach in providing innovative solutions to complex water projects.
We undertake hydraulic modelling for water distribution and trunkmains systems using one, two and three dimensional models. These results help us develop effective trunk mains and distribution management solutions, plan pipe replacement and leakage mitigation programs, and assess future development plans such as industrial, commercial and domestic property development. Our in-house GIS capability supports these activities.
Provides core functionality for navigating, displaying and analysing the data in all of the database tables.
